Position overview
In partnership with Yonkers Public Schools, Azadi Partners is seeking experienced Title II Leadership & Pedagogy Consultants for the 2026–2029 school years.
In this role, you will deliver executive coaching to school principals and leaders in participating non-public schools, as well as lead high-leverage professional development for educators. Your work will focus on refining observation and feedback cycles, embedding data-driven instructional protocols, and building internal school capacity for long-term, sustainable growth.
This position is ideal for former school principals, district executives, or senior instructional coaches who excel at mentoring leaders, fostering adult learning, and driving school-wide instructional shifts.
Compensation & Support
Competitive Executive Coaching Rate
$90.00 – $110.00 / hour for direct leadership coaching and facilitation (commensurate with leadership experience, executive credentials, and coaching expertise).
Pre-Coaching & Reporting Compensation
Additional project-based stipends or hourly compensation for approved data review, school status assessments, and progress reports.
Systemic Support
Supported by Azadi's executive team with turnkey leadership tools, data protocols, and reporting templates.
Key responsibilities
Executive & Leadership Coaching
Provide 1:1 and team coaching for non-public school principals and instructional leaders on high-leverage observation, feedback, and school culture.
Help school leaders establish clear instructional systems and align building-level priorities with research-based practices.
Professional Development Facilitation
Design and deliver professional learning sessions for non-public school teachers on Tier 1 instruction, including the Science of Reading, Conceptual Math ("Math Talk"), and Multilingual Learner (MLL) differentiation.
Data Protocols & Systemic Rigor
Guide leadership teams through the implementation of data protocols, using student benchmark data to drive instructional priorities.
Capacity Building (Innovation Catalysts)
Support the "Innovation Catalyst" coaching model by mentoring teacher-leaders to facilitate peer learning and sustain progress beyond the contract term.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed coaching logs, individual growth plans, and monthly progress summaries to document leadership growth and instructional impact.
Qualifications & experience
Education & Certification
Master's degree or Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field required.
NYS School Building Leader (SBL) / School District Leader (SDL) certification or equivalent administrative experience preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of successful leadership experience as a Principal, Assistant Principal, District Administrator, or Senior Instructional Coach.
Demonstrated track record of leading school turnaround, coaching adult learners, and improving student outcomes.
Experience working with or within non-public, private, or parochial school environments is a strong plus.
Skills
Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, high-leverage observation/feedback frameworks, and data-driven instruction.
Strong diplomatic, communication, and relationship-building skills to partner effectively with diverse school boards and leadership teams.
Comfort using digital tools and learning platforms for virtual coaching and reporting.

Schedule
Flexible, project-based hours tailored to the schedules of participating non-public school leaders and faculty.
Location
In-person at participating non-public schools in Yonkers, with select virtual coaching and consulting options.
Growth Opportunities
High-performing consultants may be offered expanded leadership roles across multiple school sites and multi-year contract renewals.
